CALUMET COUNTY - Montgomery Elmer is a 12 year incumbent on the Kimberly School Board and is seeking re-election this spring. It may not be a surprise to many, but we would like to remind voters that Elmer was a Walker recall petition signer.
Elmer was also a Democratic candidate in 2010 for the 1st State Senate District, challenging Republican Frank Lasee. In the end, Lasee defeated Elmer by over 20%.
The other 12 year incumbent, Ammie Ebben, is also seeking re-elections.
The other candidates on the February ballot are Tim Handrich, Daniel Lenz, Carole Surman, Kerry Ruhnke and Carrie Van Thiel.
